Diddy‘s federal charges have been revealed as footage has surfaced, reportedly showing him minutes before his arrest in New York City. As The Shade Room previously reported, the 54-year-old was taken into custody by federal agents on the evening of Monday, September 16.

Here’s The Footage That Reportedly Shows Diddy Minutes Before His Arrest
On Tuesday, September 17, TMZ published footage reportedly showing the music mogul “approximately 30 minutes” before federal agents entered his room at the Park Hyatt Hotel and placed him in cuffs.
According to the outlet, the footage shows the 54-year-old conversating with a few men on a New York City street. The 54-year-old appeared friendly and excited in the clip and even shook one of the men’s hands.

Per TMZ, Diddy was also spotted strolling the streets of New York City hours earlier. He was reportedly accompanied by his son, Christian “King” Combs.
The Music Mogul’s Lawyer Speaks Out Before Entering The 54-Year-Old’s First Court Appearance
As The Shade Room previously reported, the charges listed in the federal indictment against the 54-year-old were not revealed at the time of his arrest on September 16. Instead, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams of the Southern District of N.Y. took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share that Diddy’s charges will likely be unsealed on Tuesday, September 16.
“USA Damian Williams: Earlier this evening, federal agents arrested Sean Combs, based on a sealed indictment filed by the SDNY,” Williams wrote. “We expect to move to unseal the indictment in the morning and will have more to say at that time.”

AP News reported that Diddy would appear before a federal judge on Tuesday morning. Since then, CNN has obtained a statement from Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo. Agnifilo arrived at a Manhattan courthouse on September 17.
“We knew this was coming,” Agnifilo explained, adding that he expected Diddy to be charged with racketeering and sex trafficking.
Agnifilo reportedly noted that Diddy plans to plead not guilty.
Diddy’s Federal Indictment Is Unsealed & His Charges Revealed
According to an initial report by NBC News, the music mogul has been charged with “three felony counts” of “racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.”
Per CNN, the music mogul’s indictment spans 14 pages. A copy obtained by The Shade Room asserts Diddy:
“threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.”
Per NBC News, the indictment alleges the 54-year-old forced his victims into sex acts, allegedly referred to as “freak offs.”
“[Sean Combs] cause victims to engage in extended sex acts with male commercial sex workers that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during and often electronically recorded,” the indictment reads, per NBC News.
Additionally, the indictment cites “physical abuse” allegedly utilized by the music mogul “on numerous
occasions” against his various victims.
“…from at least in or about 2009 and continuing for years, COMBS assaulted women by,
among other things, striking, punching, dragging, throwing objects at, and kicking them,” the indictment reads. “These assaults were, at times, witnessed by others and included one instance at a Los Angeles hotel in or about March 2016, which was captured on video and later publicly reported, where COMBS kicked, dragged, and threw a vase at a woman as she was attempting to leave.”
Lastly, the indictment asserts that Diddy utilized his businesses, “including certain employees, to carry out, facilitate, and cover up his abuse and commercial sex.”
