Donald Trump has earned over 270 electoral votes in the 2024 presidential election. Now, The Shade Room is taking a look back on the race to the White House and runnin’ down the list of states won by Trump amid his bid to return to the presidency.

A Brief Recap Of The Race To The White House & The 2024 Presidential Election
As The Shade Room previously reported, President Joe Biden withdrew his bid for re-election in July. At the time, President Biden said that he believed it was “in the best interest” of his party and the country for him “to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling” his duties as President for the remainder of his term.
Subsequently, the President shared his endorsement of Kamala Harris.
“…Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on July 21.
In the days that followed, Niecy Nash, Tina Knowles, Martin Luther King III, and more celebrities came forward. They were the first public figures to give their public endorsement of VP Harris, per The Shade Room. Most recently, they have been joined by Beyoncé, LeBron James, Alicia Keys, and others.
Meanwhile, Trump received continued endorsement from Kodak Black, Waka Flocka Flame, Amber Rose, and others, per The Shade Room. In September, Trump even received a public endorsement from former President Barack Obama’s brother, Malik.

That same month, Trump and VP Harris faced off in their first presidential debate, per The Shade Room. The topics discussed included concerns about the economy and inflation, abortion rights, immigration, and more. Then, in October, VP Harris stepped into The Shade Room to get candid and break down her proposed policies.
