Safaree Samuels had some things to get off his chest while he recently chatted with Keyshia Ka’oir. The rapper and reality star appeared on her podcast and spoke about his stance with ex-wife and co-parent Erica Mena.

The exes have been at it since their divorce and custody battle over their children. Things boiled over in October when he exposed home footage of her trespassing his home.

Safaree Samuels Speaks On Marrying Erica Mena 

Keyshia Ka’oir didn’t waste any time grilling Safaree about the viral footage he dropped on YouTube back. In the viral clip, Erica Mena scaled a ladder to allegedly break into his house. Keyshia had one big question: where in the world did Erica even get that ladder?

In his interview, Safaree confirmed that he had an electrician at his house the day Erica arrived. After finishing the job, the electrician left the ladder outside, which is how Erica got her hands on it. When asked if Erica often tries to break in Safaree said it happened “that time.” Safaree shared that he’s glad he finally spoke up about his drama with Erica Mena. He said he usually keeps quiet, but he hit his breaking point. He believes his YouTube story time video made waves and made people say, “I get it now.”

Samuels also admitted he married Erica because he was ready for that chapter in his life. However, he added that he believes he rushed his relationship with Erica. “I wish I would’ve taken more time,” he explained.

Safaree Speaks On His Bond With His Kids

In his chat with Keyshia Ka’oir, Safaree kept it real about his relationship with his son, Legend, and daughter, Safire. He admitted that he’s waiting on the court to settle custody arrangements for them. He’s uncomfortable picking up the kids from her home, he said.

“I want it to be like okay if it’s Fridays I pick them up from school, then Monday’s I bring them back to school and then it’s like okay that’s what it’s going to be,” Safaree explained.

Additionally, the ‘Love and Hip Hop’ star revealed that the last time he saw his kids was “four months ago” and not being with them often “does bother him.” He also shared how he feels about the internet labeling him as a “deadbeat dad.”

“I really don’t let it to get me, because I know what’s really going on and you know, deadbeats ain’t paying what I’m pay in lawyer fees. It’s so expensive and I hate it so much and I just want it to be black and white, ‘hey look, let’s just let it be this.’ The only people that are benefiting from this are the lawyers.”

“I’m not a jealous person. I’m not no hater, cause I’m still doing good I don’t gotta worry about nothing. I don’t need you for nothing,” Safaree explained.

Authorities have arrested Kedus Yacob Damtew after he allegedly threatened flight attendants on a United Airlines flight. The 38-year-old man is from Washington, D.C., but was on a flight from Houston to Newark, New Jersey.

Details On Man’s Arrest After United Airlines Incident

PEOPLE reports that Kedus Yacob Damtew allegedly threatened and assaulted the flight crew. New Jersey Attorney Philip R. Sellinger confirmed the incident took place in June as the plane was en route to Newark Liberty International Airport.

Damtew reportedly took off his shirt, shoved his chest into a flight attendant, and pinned her against the exit door. He then threatened her, punched an aircraft oven, and threw water at her while yelling. According to PEOPLE, several passengers helped the United Airlines flight attendants and crew restrain Kedus Yacob Damtew with flex cuffs and move him to the back of the plane before landing.

Kedus Yacob Damtew recently faced charges of interference by assault or intimidation and threatening flight attendants and crew members on a United Airlines plane. The Miami Herald notes that if convicted, he could receive a prison sentence of up to 20 years. Additionally, he may also have to pay a fine of up to $250,000. PEOPLE states that Damtew appeared in federal court in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, December 10, where the court released him.

In an official release, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger credited FBI agents for conducting a thorough investigation that helped lead to Damtew’s charges. Additionally, he thanked the Port Authority Police Department under the direction of Edward T. Cetnar for its assistance.

“The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty,” U.S. Attorney Sellinger said.

At this time, United Airlines has not responded to the Kedus Yacob Damtew or commented on his incident during the flight. Furthermore, the flight attendant who allegedly experienced the assault from Dawtew has not released an official statement.

Furthermore, she confirmed that she first crossed paths with Robert when she was just 19 and he was 27. During the interview, she called out folks who have a problem with her keeping the R&B singer’s last name despite everything she’s been through and his charges. If you needed a lil’ refresher, TSR previously reported that R. Kelly is serving a 30-year bid for sex trafficking.

“At the end of the day, people shouldn’t be worried about why I kept the last name. They should be worried about what I do with the last name. Cause the last name ‘Kelly’ gets 20/20 to follow me. Drea kept it all the way real, admitting she wasn’t even checking for R. Kelly (aka Robert Kelly) while on tour with him at first. But after finding out her ex-fiancé cheated, she gave Robert a shot. She told Carlos that when she came back from tour, she learned her fiancé had a baby — but a DNA test later showed the child wasn’t even his.

The dancer also dished that after her ex-fiancé did her dirty, R. Kelly stepped in as her shoulder to lean on. Their bond eventually grew tighter while working together since she practically turned into his go-to creative director.

However, Drea opened up about how things went left in their relationship, claiming Robert started putting her through abuse. She said she had no idea who he really was at first because of his “narcissistic” ways. The breaking point for her came when he went off on her in front of their daughter, Joann. For context,  the estranged exes share three kids — Joann, aka Buku Abi, Jaah Kelly, and Robert Kelly Jr. Drea also mentioned her children could tell the vibe was way different when Robert wasn’t around compared to when he was.

Drea continued not to hold back when she addressed the women dragging her on social media, especially the ones constantly comparing her to Tina Turner. She made it clear that the only difference between her and Tina is this: Tina sang onstage with her abuser while she danced onstage with hers.

According to TMZ, Drake’s accusing UMG of us “payola schemes” and bots to boost Kendrick’s ‘Not Like Us’ diss track. The Canadian spitter claims an “Inside source” at UMG spilled the beans, saying the label paid off platforms — radio stations, influencers, and more — to pump up the track. The ‘Headlines’ musician is also raising eyebrows over how fast the song blew up on Spotify, and if it turns out to be true, he might need to present proof that UMG broke payola laws.

UMG Responds To Drizzy

Universal Music Group didn’t waste any time responding to Drake’s accusations. A spokesperson for the label shut down the musician’s claims from the petition on Nov. 25.

“The suggestion that UMG would do anything to undermine any of its artists is offensive and untrue. We employ the highest ethical practices in our marketing and promotional campaigns. No amount of contrived and absurd legal arguments in this pre-action submission can mask the fact that fans choose the music they want to hear,” the spokesperson explained in an official statement.

It looks like Master P’s son, Hercy Miller might be off the hook soon after getting arrested with two other men for stealing refrigerators from Southern Utah University.

New Details On Master P’s Son Theft Charges

Roommates, y’all remember when we told you Hercy Miller caught theft charges on Nov. 27, with Brock Felder, 20, and Peter Dadson Jr., 25, for snatching refrigerators from their school’s campus?

Now, TMZ is reporting that Hercy Miller might be close to shaking off that charge. According to TMZ Sports, prosecutors have filed documents to drop the felony charge against Hercy. They also said a formal decision should come by the end of next week.

Here’s What Happened With Hercy Miller & Why He Got Arrested

Earlier this week, TSR reported that Hercy Miller and his Thunderbirds teammates, Brock Felder and Peter Dadson Jr., got arrested for stealing $1,500 of refrigerators from a loading dock near the campus bookstore in Cedar City, Utah, on November 27.

KSLNewsRadio revealed that surveillance footage from Nov. 11 caught the alleged crime, showing the three athletes loading the fridges into their vehicles. Soon after, law enforcement found the stolen fridges in the apartments of two of the suspects and then in the garage of the third.

Hercy and Peter told authorities they thought the fridges were being thrown out since they had been sitting on a loading dock for almost a month, which made them think they could take them. Brock Felder admitted he helped but claimed the others were the ones who came up with the idea. Police later arrested all three men and booked them into Iron County Jail.
