As we previously reported, last night Saweetie was celebrating the release of her latest single “Back to the Streets,” and while on her man’s Instagram Live, she had a quick message for the ladies out there before walking off.
Saweetie said, “If he not giving you a Birkin, if he not paying for your bills, then throw that n*gga back to the streets okay.” As she proceeded to walk off, Quavo came behind her with the shoulder shrug.
However, it seems like Saweetie’s comment sparked a conversation on Twitter and has everyone debating on the importance of a Birkin bag in a relationship. Many people have agreed with Saweetie’s statement and said that there was a deeper meaning behind her comment. While others thought there was only a materialistic meaning to her statement.
One person said, “I didn’t take Saweetie’s Birkin comment as your man has to buy you a Birkin. Saweetie’s lifestyle calls for Birkin bags. Maybe yours only calls for a Louis V. Maybe a Coach bag for somebody else.”

Now as we mentioned before, Saweetie is serious when it comes to her Birkin Bags. Last month she created a whole skit based on her bags, and she even created an Instagram account for her bags as well.
