Roomies, Angel Reese has shared an update after recently going viral for saying that her WNBA salary doesn’t cover all of her bills.
On Thursday, October 24, Reese took to the platform to re-post a tweet initially shared by Reebok. The tweet featured campaign photos of Reese modeling a blurred pair of Reebok sneakers. Additionally, the tweet featured the words: “She’s putting her name on it. Spring 2026.”
Meanwhile, the campaign photos featured text that read: “Signature Shoe coming 2026.”
Per Bleacher Report, Reese has shared a statement about her latest venture with Reebok.
“I’m extremely excited to let you guys know that we are officially coming out with a Reebok by Angel signature shoe,” the statement reads. “We’ve already kicked off the design process, and it means the world to me to have Reebok’s full support and confidence with this shoe and overall partnership.”
Subsequently, Reese tweeted:
“God is so good!!!… (looks like i can ‘afford’ my bills now…)”
Social media users reacted to Reese’s words in the comment section of her tweet.
Reese may be making headlines for her recent moves. However, she’s also currently trending alongside another baller, Shaquille O’Neal. As The Shade Room previously reported, O’Neal appeared as a recent guest on Reese’s podcast ‘Unapologetically Angel.’
While there, O’Neal suggested that Reese consider making a change to her on the court attire. Since then, social media has been goin’ off with reactions to the 52-year-old’s advice.
