Whew! Roomies, Lil Wayne has seemingly reacted to being mentioned by Kendrick Lamar on his new album, ‘GNX.’
As The Shade Room previously reported, Lamar surprised fans with the release of his album on Friday, November 22. Subsequently, social media went OFF with reactions.
Furthermore, Lamar even mentioned Lil Wayne and the apparent Super Bowl controversy on his track ‘Wacced Out Murals.’
However, the internet wasn’t the only one with reactions to Lamar’s drop. Additionally, Lil Wayne seemingly shared his thoughts on being mentioned by Lamar on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday, November 23.
Apparently, Wayne believed that someone, who he referred to as “they,” was attempting to come for his “head.”
“Man wtf I do?! I just be chillin & dey still kome 4 my head,” he wrote. “Let’s not take kindness for weakness. Let this giant sleep. I beg u all. No one really wants destruction,not even me but I shall destroy if disturbed. On me. Love”
Subsequently, Wayne’s tweet garnered over 6.4 million views to date. Additionally, social media users couldn’t help but share their thoughts in the comment section of his tweet.
On Friday, November 22, Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, shared a brief reaction to his ‘GNX’ release. Alford took to her Instagram Story to repost Lamar’s album with a few heart emojis.
