Lil Durk Appears In Federal Courthouse For His Arraignment In Los Angeles
According to WGN-TV, Durk was extradited to California on Wednesday, November 13.

On Thursday, the rapper reportedly appeared in a Los Angeles federal courthouse for his arraignment, per USA Today. Furthermore, the ‘OTF’ rapper pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. Additionally, prosecutors reportedly requested that he remain in custody as his trial pends as they believe Durk is a “flight risk and a danger to the community.”
Per the outlet, Durk will now remain in Los Angeles in federal custody.
According to ABC7, U.S. Magistrate Judge Patricia Donahue ordered Durk to be held without bond and scheduled a status conference for November 25 and a detention hearing for December 12. Furthermore, the outlet notes that Durk’s trial has reportedly been scheduled to begin on January 7, 2025. However, the trial state is reportedly “expected to be postponed.”
Here’s Why The Rapper Is Being Accused Of Murder-For-Hire
As The Shade Room previously reported, Lil Durk was taken into custody by U.S. Marshalls on October 24 in Florida. At the time, it was revealed that Durk’s charge was related to “conspiracy to use interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire, resulting in death.”
At the time, it was also reported that five affiliates of Durk had also been picked up by authorities. The men were reportedly involved in a 2022 shootout that targeted Quando Rondo but instead led to the death of his cousin, Saviay’a Robinson. Furthermore, authorities asserted that Durk allegedly ordered the hit in retaliation for the 2020 killing of his friend, King Von.

Furthermore, before being extradited to Los Angeles, prosecutors recently announced additional charges against Durk. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Durk’s charges now stand as “one count of conspiracy, one count of use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and one count of using, carrying, and discharging firearms and a machine gun and possession of such firearms in furtherance of a crime of violence resulting in death.”
If Durk is convicted of the charges, he will reportedly face the possibility of life in prison.
