More Details On The New Allegations From Over 100 Individuals
Earlier this week, attorney Tony Buzbee took to Instagram to announce that his firm, the Buzbee Law Firm, and AVA Law Group would hold a press conference on October 1.
“A press conference setting out the claims alleged against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and others will be at 1pm, Tuesday… The Buzbee Law Firm and the AVA Law Group represent well over 100 individuals at this point,” the attorney wrote in the caption of his post. “If you’ve been victimized or have witnessed such, call the Sexual Abuse Hotline at 1-800-200-7474. Be brave!!…”
According to TMZ, during the press conference, Buzbee explained that the firms are representing 120 new accusers against Diddy. Additionally, the lawyer explained that lawsuits for each alleged victim will be filed against the 54-year-old within the next 30 days.
The new victims reportedly include a plethora who were minors at the alleged time of their assault by Diddy. One victim Buzbee particularly noted was an individual who was nine years old when he was allegedly “lured” by Diddy with the promise of a recording contract. Additionally, Buzbee noted the experience of an individual who was 15 years old when Diddy and others allegedly raped her.
“When we talk about the ages of the victims when the conduct occurred, it’s shocking,” Buzbee reportedly said per Fox News. “The youngest victim at the time of the occurrence was 9 years old. We have an individual who was 14 years old. We have one who was 15. Twenty-five of the 120 individuals who are plaintiffs in these cases were minors at the time of the acts complained of… The time frame of the acts complained of is very wide. The conduct… spans from the years 1991 all the way to this year, 2024.”
Amid the press conference, Buzbee alleged that Diddy utilized drinks laced with xylazine, reportedly used for horse tranquilizers, to subdue his alleged victims.
Lastly, the attorney noted that the suits would also be filed against anyone who allegedly conspired alongside Diddy. Per TMZ, the attorney stated that the suits will include “names that will shock you.”
Erica Wolff, One Of Diddy’s Attorneys, Reacts
After the press conference ended, Erica Wolff shared a statement with TMZ. Wolff seemingly referred to the new accusers as partaking in a “reckless media circus” against Diddy. Wolff asserted that the new allegations against Diddy are “false” and “defamatory.” However, he is looking forward to “proving his innocence” in a court of law.
“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” the attorney’s statement reads. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
