According to a Facebook post shared by the Sanford Police Department on November 6, 2024, Tyler was arrested that day and taken into custody “without incident.” Additionally, the department asserted that Tyler would be charged with one count of first-degree homicide.

More Details On The Fatal Shooting Of Lauren Ashley Martin
According to Sanford Police, on November 5, around 7:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the residential area of the Greystone Townhomes. Once there, cops reportedly discovered Martin “laying in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.”
At that point, Martin was transported to a local hospital. However, “she later died as a result of her injuries.”
Furthermore, authorities say Martin drove to Tyler’s residence over “an ongoing argument.” Once there, their disagreement started verbally. However, it turned physical. Per WESH, Martin was a photographer who had taken pictures of Tyler, which Tyler appeared unhappy with.
“Someone went online and made a comment… then another person went online and made a comment just back and forth and spiraled out of control from there,” Martin’s aunt, Jessica Burks, reportedly told the outlet.
According to the outlet, the pair engaged in a “mutual-combat style fist fight” before Tyler shot Martin multiple times.
Furthermore, Sanford Police noted that they are in possession of the livestream footage of the fatal altercation. As of November 7, the police did not publicly note if a third party was responsible for recording the altercation. However, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that the incident was streamed by Martin and Tyler’s girlfriend. Fox 35 Orlando adds that the stream was broadcast via Facebook.

Additionally, she has been charged with “principal in the first-degree to first-degree premeditated homicide.” Furthermore, police believe Pringle livestreamed the fatal shooting between Tyler, who is her girlfriend, and Martin.
Police reportedly noted that livestream footage showed Pringle encouraging her girlfriend during the violent altercation. Ultimately, Pringle is reportedly heard telling Tyler, “Fire her [expletive] up!”
Afterward, Tyler reportedly grabbed the weapon and shot Martin twice.
Per Fox 35 Orlando, Tyler has pled not guilty in the case. Meanwhile, Martin’s family is reportedly holding a candlelight vigil for her on November 15, and accepting donations via GoFundMe.
A Husband In Florida Was Recently Arrested For A Shocking Shooting
Unfortunately, the fatal incident is not the only one to make shocking headlines in Florida. As The Shade Room previously reported, last month, Armando Carralero was also taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder.
Furthermore, Carralero had reportedly shot his wife, Yuneisy Labrada Rodriguez, while in the parking lot of a shopping plaza. Ultimately, Rodriguez succumbed to her injuries.
